Calvary Temple is defined by our desire for people to know Jesus, Know the Healing Power of the Healer Jesus Christ and find community. One of the first things you will notice when you walk through the doors on Sunday morning is the warm worshiping atmosphere.
Calvary Temple was started September 12, 1993 by Reverend and Mrs. J L Schaffer, their son Tim Schaffer, Pam Miller, Charlie Roberts and other dedicated individuals with a vision for community and the lost.
Over the years, some of the faces have changed and many have went onto their reward, but the vision for the community and the lost, has never wavered!
There have been many lives touched through the years and forever changed all because of Jesus, who is at the center of what we do, why we do what we do and the only message we present!
In April of 2009 Charlie Roberts became the lead Pastor of Calvary Temple, “God’s House of Hope and Healing”We are excited to continue the journey and also enter into the next chapter of the story God is writing here in Monticello. We would love for you to be a part of the story, as we continue to build our relationship with Jesus and each other, in a loving and caring church family. We want to encourage you, to come be part of the community!
